18w Steel Chassis - REVERSE LAYOUT

18w Steel Chassis - 1.5MM Galvanised Steel
This chassis does not come with cage nuts fitted. 

THIS IS A REVERSE FORMED CHASSIS!!

These chassis were formed inside out by our sheetmetal worker, which means the inputs are on the left and not the right. They are still great for projects but are not a product we will keep long term. Once they are gone they are gone.
 

This Steel chassis is perfect for building classis British amplifiers or modern higher gain type circuits into a head style unit and the overall dimensions will allow it to be fitted into a small head box cabinet.

The Transformer holes are pre drilled to match our standard 18w Power and Output Transformer set. (Please watch the video below)

Valve socket holes are sized for the high quality Belton sockets. There is one Octal socket hole for a rectifier valve if you want that on your amp

The front panel holes are sizes for 3/8" type potentiometers with location holes to prevent the potentiometer turning, this removes the requirement to break the location tab off the potentiometer to get them to fit.

There are holes on the front panel for mounting mini toggle switches for switching options

The rear IEC is made to fit the IEC socket with fuse holder available in the shop, it will also accept a standard Modulus IEC socket but you will need a faceplate to hide the hole. 

The corners are not welded, however there are flanges formed internally that can be bolted or riveted by the builder if deemed necassary.

The overall chassis sizes are the same as a JTM45 type chassis and so can fit into the 18w head cabs or the larger JTM head cabs we manufacture.
