50w Frankentone Power Transformer
 

This is the power transformer we use in out Frankentone Amplifier Kit and features a full voltage and low voltage tap on the high voltage secondary to allow you to drop the voltage for the "brown sound"

Approx B+ in full voltage is 470v, B+ at low voltage is 360v typically.

As standard the design is a Lay down style for mounting on our head chassis with power transformer cut out. however you can use the drop down menu to select  standup style mounting.

Select your countries wall voltage from the drop down list.

This PT uses a bridge rectifier, not a full wave rectifier. If you are swapping out an existing 50w PT you need to change the rectifier arrangement and most likely the biasing arrangement too.
