We have been asked multiple times to do a bass amp kit, but once you explain the cost and weight of a 200w Valve Bass amp most guys are put off, but here is a classic bass amp model that is voiced for bass but is also a great guitar amp for those wanting smoother less aggressive guitar tones than the normal lead spec plexi -  making it ideal for Southern Rock slide playing - hint hint

Based directly off the 1986 50w Plexi Bass amp.

We have tried to make the options above flexible enough to build the exact amp you want, but if you want some small differences please let us know, Our recommendation are as follows

• High Spec: Sozo Coupling Caps, F&T Filters,Carbon film Resistors
• Good Spec: Mallory Coupling Caps, Modulus Filter caps, Carbon film Resistors
• Budget Spec: Yellow Modulus Coupling caps, Modulus Filter Caps, Carbon film Resistors

If you select to include valves we typically supply JJ Electronic valves with this kit

You can also select your faceplate colour and knobs, we make faceplate's to order so if you have any special requirements let us know and we will see what we can do to help.

Our transformers are high quality units based directly off real Drake and Dagnall transformers that we pulled apart to measure every detail, They meet modern safety and insulation requirements. The power transformer is supplied for the wall voltage in your country only. If you need a multi tapped power transformer please contact us at time of order.

Cabinets are made to order and we will ship the complete kit with the cabinet. It is cheaper to buy the cabinet with the kit compared to purchasing it later.

SHIPPING DETAILS

Parts will be picked once the order is received and generally shipped within 3 to 10 working days from receipt of order. We try to keep all parts in stock to satisfy kit orders, however if there are part shortages that will take longer than 2 weeks we will contact you, Please contact me for estimated shipping times prior to ordering if concerned.

Cabinets are made to order and shipped separately, dispatch times are typically 4 to 6 weeks for cabinets.
