Early in 2025 we were asked to provide a kit that would doctor the tone, this is where the MoZey amp kit was born. The MoZey core tone is influenced by one of the leading boutique amp builders in the US who primarily supplies Americana, Blues and country players with great hand wired amps that are built to last and sound great in a band mix.

At the heart of the amp is the power section with two cathode biased EL84 valves, enough power for small venues , the pre phase invertor master volume allows you to control how hard the phase invertor and power valves are pushed giving great control over the clean headroom and also allowing you to crank the amp up for glorious drive sounds

The amp has the classic high and low inputs, The high input give a high impedance input to get the most out of your guitar, but if you have a high output guitar you may want to try the low input to give you some extra headroom.

Use the options above to select exactly what you want, we recommend using polyester coupling caps, so either the Modulus Yellow Caps or upgrade to Mallory M150 or Sozo Std Mustard Caps.

You can choose to have the amp powered through a 5Y3 valve rectifier or solid state diodes mounted on the board. If you choose diode rectification the power transformer will not have the 5v winding needed for valve rectification.

If you select to include valves we normally supply JJ Electronic valves with this kit when available.

You can also select your faceplate colour and knobs, we make faceplate's to order so if you have any special requirements let us know and we will see what we can do to help.

Our transformers are made in house using the highest quality materials and the output transformer is  multi layered (interleaved) for great high end response and and uses high grade, grain orientated laminations to give full and clear bass power..

Parts will be picked once the order is received and generally shipped within 3 to 10 working days from receipt of order. We try to keep all parts in stock to satisfy kit orders, however if there are part shortages that will take longer than 2 weeks we will contact you within 3 working days of placing the order, Please contact me for estimated shipping times prior to ordering if concerned.

Cabinets are made to order and shipped separately, dispatch times are typically 4 to 6 weeks for the cabinet. We can also make custom cabinets to suit this amp so get in touch with your weirdest desires!
